1. How long do the results last?
How long your results last really depends on your diet, wear and tear and how well you look after your teeth on a daily basis. Teeth are porous so they will always stain over time – for instance if you drink tea and coffee a couple of times per day, your teeth will of course stain quicker. If you are a smoker your teeth will stain quicker.

How to get long term white teeth:
The laser is brilliant for immediate results but to maintain these results from day to day wear and tear we highly recommend using our custom made teeth whitening trays. They fit perfectly to your teeth only and ensure the teeth whitening gels are in constant contact with your teeth for more prolonged, and consistent length of time ensuring the best results possible. Also, the whitening gels are not diluted by saliva. You have the custom trays forever and can top up at home whenever you deem it necessary. This is the ultimate way to maintain long term white teeth through consistent whitening when necessary. 2. Can it whiten fake teeth (crowns, veneers, dentures, bridges)?
Laser teeth whitening can whiten fake teeth to a certain degree, it will only remove the staining on the surface of the fake teeth. Therefore, it will only bring your fake tooth back to the shade it was originally put in at. It CANNOT whiten your fake teeth any more than the original shade – as the fake tooth was man made at a specific shade – so it cannot be whitened beyond the shade it was made by your dentist. Ideally, your natural teeth would be slightly more stained than your fake teeth so they whiten to match your fake teeth. In most cases the match is very good.

3. How long does laser teeth whitening take?
The whole process takes approx 1 hour in total including same day consultation. The actual laser teeth whitening treatment itself takes about 40 minutes. It is an extremely easy, non-invasive treatment – we simply apply whitening gels to the surface of your teeth and place the light in front of the mouth area to accelerate the whitening process.

4. Is it safe?
Laser teeth whitening does not change the shape or structure of your teeth in any way. The equipment is a Class I Medical Device – CE, FDA and ISO 9001 approved. It is the only teeth whitening equipment to be granted 5 stars from the prominent Dental Advisory Board and Dental Shopper.

5. Will I feel sensitivity?
Our teeth whitening gels contain desensitising agents. The teeth whitening laser light we use is a cold blue light – which emits the optimal mix of halogen and LED light to accelerate the teeth whitening process. There is no sensitivity from laser teeth whitening. Some dentists use UV heat lamps like Zoom which ultimately dehydrate the teeth to make them look whiter and cause greater sensitivity. We use Beyond Dental & Health teeth whitening equipment (cold blue light) which has been voted best in surgery teeth whitening for the last 10 years by the Dental Advisory Board in US.

6. How many sessions will I need?
90% of patients only require one laser teeth whitening session which will give immediate results. However, if you are a heavy smoker or have bad staining due to antibiotics you may require further treatment to ensure you achieve desired results.

7. How soon will I see results?

8. How much will my teeth whiten?
On average we whiten teeth 5 shades. This depends on the mineral content contained in the dentin of your teeth. Results will therefore vary between individuals. Mineral content depletes with age, by the foods you ingest, and can also be affected by medicines that you may have taken as a child.

9. Can I get laser teeth whitening when pregnant?
For medical reasons you can not have laser teeth whitening during pregnancy or breast feeding.

10. What is the minimum age for laser teeth whitening?
You must be 18 years of age to have laser teeth whitening.
